Huntsville High School is proud to present the 6th Annual NCEC. Please
join us for two days of world-class speakers, great food, beautiful
natural surroundings and opportunities to make connections.

The National Character Education Conference (NCEC) is dedicated to
advancing the educational principles of Character Education. The aim of
the conference is to provide information and inspiration to students,
teachers, administrators, support staff and community members who support
student learning.

The pre-conference, to be held on November 1st, 2010, will feature a
choice of two events. Dr. Paul Begley will keynote a symposium for
teachers, future leaders and administrators on Sustainable Leadership,
while Dr. Monte Selby will explore the ideas of Respect and Responsibility
with participants interested in refining thier teaching practice.

The main conference will begin the evening of November 1st with Stuart
McLean, one of Canada's most famous story-tellers, as he reflects upon his
20 years in the classroom.

The highlights of Tuesday, November 2nd will be keynote presentations by
Michael Brandwein and Craig Kielburger along with opportunities for
practical workshop opportunities that will focus on classroom practice.
